As an experienced and dedicated printmaker, I specialize in small edition etchings, original handmade prints, and drawings.
My aim is to capture moments, curious thoughts and ideas that interest me, as well as essence of the subject while conveying my personal vision and opinions. I enjoy creating art that requires viewers to think, ponder, and wonder. My work has been included in numerous national and statewide juried exhibits, exhibited in various northern Wisconsin galleries, and I have taken part in many duo and small group art exhibits. In creating new artworks I frequently explore and combine various printmaking and drawing techniques to produce thought-provoking pieces. I have never confined my style to a single consistent type, and my subject matter is diverse, although many recognizable themes emerge. I appreciate all art enthusiasts who dedicate time and effort to seeking out and purchasing unique, handmade original art. The era of small galleries has rapidly decreased in the decades as the era of online and foreign art factories has expanded. Consequently, opportunities for to participate in gallery-sponsored and regional exhibits have diminished.
